ATHLETE BAR TESTIMONIAL – ECZEMA I have suffered with atopic eczema most of my life. I’ve even had to take drugs like Ciclosporin which are anti rejection drugs also used by people who have had organ transplants. Eventually the Ciclosporin stopped being effective and I stopped taking it. After stopping the Ciclosporin, I had a massive flare up and was bad for over 12 months but eventually managed to get it under control again. 18months ago I started to get folliculitis in addition to my eczema and was in a real mess. My doctor prescribed antibiotics which cleared the folliculitis, but as soon as I stopped taking the courses it kept coming back. In addition to the antibiotics I was also using bath based medicines such as oilatum and balnium for my eczema. I found that the more I used the bath oils the dryer my skin became. 6 months ago decided to look for an alternative to the bath oils. And was looking for something with antiseptic properties. I came across your Athlete soap bar. I have found it beneficial in several ways. Firstly it has prevented my folliculitis reoccurring and I have been clear of it since I started using the soap. Secondly. It seems to have made a big difference to my eczema and skin condition. I am no longer dry and itchy. My skin now actually repels water. Before when I was dry an covered it eczema, water use to spread on its surface. To use an analogy it was like car body paint that’s Un waxed. The water doesn’t bead it just kinda spreads. Now however, my skin is more like a waxed car and the water just runs off it. For the first time in many years I am at the stage where I could safely say I could ware shorts and a t-shirt without feeling self conscious. I find that the Athlete Bar soap is very soothing. I am showering with it every day and tend to get through a whole bar about once a week. My regime is this. Shower once a day normally at night before bed, or after strenuous exercise using Athlete bar soap. Go to bed with clean bed cloths every other day. Use clean bedding once a week. Make sure the shower is not too hot! Hot water seems to strip the natural oils from my skin. Please note. Doctors do not recommend using soap if you have dry skin or eczema. As soap is normally to harsh. For me however, and I appreciate everyone is different. Using Athlete bar is somehow different and this is not the case. I would highly recommend Athlete bar to anyone with skin the same as mine. use it on a small part of your body, say on an arm give it a week if it works, use it all over. If your skin gets worse and doesn’t improve over a few days stop using it and try something else.Steve Pritchard
TESTIMONIAL: SEVERE ECZEMA I have had eczema from birth relying on shelves of creams and potions from the doctor to keep flare ups under control. This included shower creams, steroid creams, Hydro-cortisone as well as emollients to control the itching. Even with all this, flare ups were regular, often resulting in weeping sores and inflamed red skin. Anyone who has the condition knows it is not just the pain and irritation but how self-conscious you become when your face is bright red, covered in weeping sores and large flakes of dry skin.
I have tried various potions and lotions over the years and never found anything that worked. That was until two years ago, when suffering from a particularly severe flare up making me look like something out of a horror film a friend introduced me to Idee Pure Green Soap saying it had cured her husbands eczema, and generously gave me a bar to try. Desperate I gave it go. Immediately, and I mean literally after the first use of the soap the itching and soreness started to reduce. Within a week all irritation and inflammation had gone completely,
The first month of using the soap is ‘interesting’ and I put that down to my skin recalibrating away from all the chemicals from the various medicated creams I was using. The only way I can describe it is feeling like your skin has had all the moisture sucked out of it. Not dry, just dehydrated and tight. I weaned myself off the medicated creams and over the space of a few weeks the feeling of dehydration and tightness diminished. Within one month of starting to use the Green soap I had clear, soft, smooth skin – for the first time in my entire life. I am 43 years old and my skin looks fabulous and for the first time in my life I am regularly complemented on how great my skin is.
For almost two years I have not used cream at all, my skincare regime consists of using the Green peppemint & tea tree soap when I shower each morning and when I wash at night. My travel wash kit is very light now I don’t have to take a bag of medicated creams with me everywhere. I don’t even think about me being someone with sensitive skin anymore, since even when exposed to triggers such as stress, dust and central heating my skin remains irritation free.
Most miracle cures cost an arm and a leg, and I have tried my fair share of bank breaking pots of cream over the use. But Idee Pure Green Soap isn’t expensive. I use a single bar of athlete’s soap each month. At £3.99 a bar, my skincare routine costs me less than £50 a year and I have fabulous skin. 🙂
Idee Pure Green Soap is a genuine cure all from eczema and I highly recommend you give it go if you are struggling with skin problems.
